Contact land managing agency for trail status.

Twenty-four mile system of varying technical difficulty. Majority of trails open to Class I & III operators. One trail (1.33 miles) open to Class II operators. Trails extend over a checkerboard pattern of public and private lands. Map available from Eugene District Office. Shared-use road segments shown on map are the only paved roads open to unlicensed (non-street legal) vehicles. All other paved roads in the Shotgun trail system are CLOSED to non-street legal vehicles. Dispersed camping opportunities are available with a 14 day stay limit within a calender year.

Site location: From I5 north, take Exit 216. Go 11 miles to Brush Creek Rd. Turn right and go 16 miles to Shotgun Cr Rd (look for signs). From I5 south, take I105 4 miles east to 42nd Street. Left at light, right on Marcola to Shotgun Cr Rd.
